Kaiko is very conscious of our impact on the environment and we are constantly striving to find new ways to improve our production processes. We realise that plastic pollution and by-products of the textile industry is a huge issue and we hope to offer a thoughtful alternative to people who endeavour to make sustainable and environmentally friendly choices.

We are currently working with a Canadian manufacturer who uses a digital printing process that results in little to no waste and that uses water soluble inks. When using dyeing techniques or hand/screen printing fabric, we use natural inks and dyes that are also water soluble and septic safe. We try to use exclusively organic fabric, either 100% linen or a cotton/linen blend. All of our swing tags and other marketing materials are printed on 100% recycled paper.

We are also committed to eliminating plastic in our studio, product packaging and marketing materials.

These kinds of initiatives are of the utmost importance to us and we try to do better every day.
